What are your hours of operation and admission fees?
MacCallum More Museum & Gardens is open year-round.
- Visiting Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Closed on: Major holidays and for private rentals.

What can I see at MacCallum More Museum & Gardens?
Gardens: Filled with treasures from around the world, collected by CMDR William (Billy) Hudgins during his travels. You’ll find unique statues, relics, and beautiful flora and fauna. Many areas include dedications to the Hudgins/Morton families, each telling a unique piece of the MacCallum More story.

Accessibility & Facilities
Is MMMG wheelchair accessible?
Yes, but some areas may require assistance. Please contact us in advance if you need accommodations.
Accessibility Features:
Parking:
- 1 designated accessible parking space near the museum entrance.
- Additional accessible parking along Hudgins Street near the Gift Shop.
Paths:
- A mix of slate, stone, brick, and concrete pathways. Some areas have steep grades.
Museum Entrance:
- Main entrance off Walker Street with ramps and handrails.
- Double doors (36” wide) for easy access.
Restrooms:
- Located inside the museum, with accessible stalls (36” doors, handrails, and a 19” seat height).
Gift Shop:
- Wide aisles (48”) and counters (30” high) for wheelchair access.

Does MMMG have a gift shop?
Yes! Our Gift Shop offers unique home and garden gifts.

Are there restaurants at MMMG?
No, but you are welcome to bring a picnic! Several restaurants, pizza places, and sub shops are just a few blocks away in Chase City.
