Welcome to the MacCallum More Museum & Gardens (“MMMG,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, visiting our grounds, purchasing admission, attending events, becoming a member, booking a facility rental, or making a donation, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read them carefully.

1. General Website Use

This website provides information about our museum, gardens, programs, and events. By using our site, you agree not to engage in activities that disrupt service, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse any content. All information is provided for general purposes and may be updated at any time.

2. Hours, Weather Closures & Operational Changes

MMMG is open year-round with posted hours on our website and Google Business Profile.

We may close or modify hours without prior notice due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Special events

  • Maintenance

  • Safety concerns

Visitors are responsible for checking current hours before planning their visit. No refunds or compensation are issued for closures due to weather or safety.

3. Admission & Ticketing

By visiting MMMG:

  • Admission rates are posted and may change without notice.

  • Honor box payments must be made honestly when staff is unavailable.

  • All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Admission fees are non-refundable unless MMMG cancels a paid, ticketed event.

4. Garden Etiquette & Safety

To preserve the historic integrity of our gardens and sculpture collection:

  • Stay on marked paths whenever possible.

  • Do not climb on sculptures, historic structures, or stone features.

  • Do not pick flowers or disturb wildlife.

  • Pets must remain leashed at all times.

  • Visitors assume responsibility for their own safety while walking on uneven paths or natural surfaces.

MMMG is not liable for injuries caused by misuse of the grounds, failure to follow posted instructions, or natural outdoor conditions.

5. Museum & Hudgins House Policies

Inside the museum buildings:

  • Food and drink are not permitted.

  • Touching artifacts or displays is not allowed unless signage indicates otherwise.

  • Photography may be limited in certain areas.

  • Guided tours may require advance scheduling.

MMMG reserves the right to remove visitors who disregard staff instructions or cause disruption.

6. Photography & Commercial Use

Personal photography is welcome.
However, the following require prior permission and may be subject to fees:

  • Professional or commercial photography

  • Portrait sessions

  • Wedding/engagement photos

  • Drone use

  • Media or press shoots

MMMG reserves the right to deny or revoke photography privileges to protect visitor experience and the integrity of the grounds.

7. Membership Terms

By purchasing a membership:

  • Benefits apply only to the named member(s).

  • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • MMMG may adjust membership benefits or pricing at any time.

  • Renewal reminders may be sent via email or mail when applicable.

Misuse of membership privileges may result in cancellation without refund.

8. Gift Shop Purchases (In-Person & Online)

For in-person sales:

  • All sales are final unless an item is defective.

  • Exchanges may be offered at staff discretion.

For future online sales:

  • Shipping rates and timelines will be stated at checkout.

  • MMMG is not responsible for delays caused by carriers.

  • Digital downloads are non-refundable.

  • Returns must follow posted policies.

9. Event Registration & Facility Rentals

For public events (Paint & Sip, workshops, tours, etc.):

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless MMMG cancels the event.

  • Space is limited; registration is first-come, first-served.

  • Attendees must follow staff instructions and safety rules.

For private rentals (weddings, photography sessions, parties):

  • A rental agreement must be signed.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Clients are responsible for any damages caused by them or their guests.

  • Outside vendors must comply with MMMG rules and local regulations.

MMMG may deny rental requests at its discretion.

10. Donations & Tax Information

MMMG is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

  • Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

  • No goods or services are provided in exchange for purely charitable donations unless otherwise noted.

  • MMMG does not offer refunds for donations.

Donation receipts are provided for contributions over $250 or upon request.

11. Intellectual Property

All images, text, graphics, logos, and digital materials on this website are the property of MMMG or used with permission.
Visitors may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Sell

  • Modify

  • Distribute

…any content without written authorization.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMMG is not responsible for:

  • Injuries or accidents occurring on museum or garden grounds

  • Damages resulting from weather, wildlife, or natural terrain

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal items

  • Website interruptions or inaccuracies

Visitors enter the property at their own risk.

MMMG may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the website or facilities indicates acceptance of updated terms.
