Restore the Lion Fountain

Restore the Lion Fountain

The Lion Fountain at MacCallum More Museum & Gardens (MMMG) has welcomed visitors for generations and was one of the most recognized features of the property.

Over time, weather, age, and vandalism have caused significant damage, and the fountain now requires restoration.

Our Restoration Goal

The estimated cost to restore the Lion Fountain is approximately $43,787.

To make the restoration more meaningful and community-driven, the project has been divided into 12 Lions, with each lion representing a $3,600 step toward bringing the fountain back to life.

As each lion becomes fully funded:

  • That lion’s name is permanently retired
  • Donors are recognized as part of the restoration effort
  • A new lion is named as the campaign continues

The first lion, Billy, was named in honor of Commander William H. “Billy” Hudgins, who helped bring many of the beautiful features to MacCallum More Museum & Gardens.
