F.W. ‘Richie’ Richards, Jr. is a lifelong Chase City resident, pharmacist, and passionate advocate for historic preservation. As Board President of MacCallum More Museum & Gardens, he leads efforts to restore and maintain the gardens, statues, and cultural artifacts that make this landmark special.

A Chase City native with a passion for design and preservation, Mary Anne Wood brings her expertise in retail, interior design, and community revitalization to MacCallum More Museum & Gardens. As Vice President, she helps guide the museum’s growth while preserving its historical charm.

Patricia Burton brings financial expertise and a love for history to MacCallum More Museum & Gardens. She cherishes the ‘circle’ for its community gatherings and works to ensure the gardens thrive for future generations.

A retired educator and dedicated volunteer, Phyllis Winn brings her passion for literacy, history, and the arts to MacCallum More Museum & Gardens. From assisting at art shows to reading to children in the gardens, she helps create a welcoming and enriching experience for all visitors.

A lifelong Chase City resident and former board president, Diana has devoted decades to preserving the beauty and legacy of MacCallum More. From expanding educational programs to securing landmark recognition, her leadership continues to shape the gardens she’s loved since childhood.

An award-winning artist and dedicated Museum Curator, Diana Thorpe preserves and shares the rich history of MacCallum More Museum & Gardens. From curating exhibits to restoring artifacts, she ensures that the museum remains a cultural and educational treasure for future generations.

A retired superintendent and dedicated community advocate, Helen Hill brings her leadership experience and passion for education to MacCallum More Museum & Gardens. She works to preserve history, engage the community, and support the museum’s mission.

A dedicated higher education leader and historian, Dr. Barry Simmons Sr. brings his expertise in financial aid and nonprofit leadership to MacCallum More Museum & Gardens. With deep local roots and a passion for preserving history, he works to connect education, culture, and community.

A film industry veteran and historic preservation advocate, Beverly Wood leads efforts to restore the Mecca Theatre while enhancing events at MacCallum More Museum & Gardens . Her passion for storytelling and community revitalization brings new life to local history.
